Press Credential Policy – USAfrica Business Expo

It is our pleasure to welcome accredited members of the press to cover the USAfrica Business Expo (USAfrica). However, due to limited space, we must restrict our complementary press passes to those who are working members of the media who will be covering the event for print, broadcast and online outlets.

As such, we have developed the following criteria for complimentary press passes. If you do not meet these criteria and wish to attend an event, we invite you to register as a regular attendee. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact Stephanie Ugokue: Pacetas Agency. Her contact information is listed below.

To qualify for a complimentary media pass:

  1. The applicant should cover the international trade, Africa, franchise industry, small business, lifestyle, business policy or related issues on a regular basis.
  2. Exceptions may be made for local media interests covering an event.
  3. Personal Web sites will not qualify for media credentials.

To apply for press credentials:

Please email your request to partner@usafricahub.com, and include:

  1. The media outlet you represent
  2. The name of the reporter who will be attending the event
  3. The nature of the assignment, details of coverage, title/beat
  4. Contact information, including email address, mobile phone, etc.
  5. Any technical requirements or accommodations that may be needed.

Onsite press registrants will be asked to provide the same information to qualify.
