2019 – The Beginning - Hosted the first B2B/B2G Exhibition during the UN General Assembly

The inaugural USAfrica Business Week launched in New York City with over 200 attendees. It marked the start of a bold mission to connect diaspora entrepreneurs with trade and investment opportunities across the U.S.–Africa corridor.

2020 – Going Virtual, Staying Global - Officially incorporated as a 501(c)(3); 750 attendees

In response to the pandemic, the event shifted online, drawing over 500 virtual participants from 15+ countries. Discussions focused on remote export logistics, digital trade, and diaspora resilience.

2021 – The Hybrid Pivot - Trained 950 SMEs on U.S.–Africa Export-Import

The return of an in-person experience with a hybrid model introduced interactive B2B matchmaking. African tech startups, agri-exporters, and diaspora-owned SMEs took center stage in cross-border deal rooms.

2022 – Expansion & Diplomacy - Launched Export & Prosper program (trained 305 participants)

USAfrica Business Week expanded to over 1,000 attendees, with participation from African ambassadors, U.S. city officials, and trade agencies. Strategic partnerships and export coaching sessions helped SMEs gain international visibility.

2023 – Diaspora Power - Launched Retail Incubation program at Westfield Garden State Mall

The event spotlighted food systems, diaspora-led capital, and creative industry exporters. VIP attendees included U.S. policymakers and private investors committed to driving equity in global trade.

2024 – Market Day Innovation - Granted United Nations ECOSOC Consultative Status

The launch of the USAfrica Market Day brought over 60 exhibitors to Brooklyn, showcasing African-made goods, fashion, beauty products, and cuisine. Cultural performances blended seamlessly with trade engagement, bridging commerce and community.

2024 – Market Day Innovation - Launched Open - air Retail/B2B Market Trade Exhibition

The launch of the USAfrica Market Day brought over 60 exhibitors to Brooklyn, showcasing African-made goods, fashion, beauty products, and cuisine. Cultural performances blended seamlessly with trade engagement, bridging commerce and community.
